They need to just remove leveling (Note that I said leveling, not power progression or questing, I will get back to this after the next point), Pandora's box is opened there is no way to fix it without taking steps back which would cause a collective meltdown as well as problems. What they need to do is what they did with flying, flying was added to the game, this had a negative impact because WoW as a whole was not created with flying in mind, this is why flying needed to be disabled in all instanced content, BGs, new expansions, etc. however by the time they realized what a colossal screw up a TBC gimmick caused Pandora's box had already been opened. WoD _tried_ closing the box but it was a disaster, and because flying, which was shortsightedly made a core game feature years back, the fact it _had_ to be disabled every expansion and a pathfinder put in, it left a sour taste in everyone's mouth except a small subset of classic boomers such as myself who could just deal with it and didn't mind. How did Blizzard fix this? Instead of trying to close Pandora's box, they just completely embraced their feature and began to integrate and design around it in the process removing the bad feature and leaving a good one. Except again that small sub-set, not unlike the classic boomers who were fine with no flying when they tried that. So why remove leveling? Well, leveling as already effectively removed. A no-lifer can get a max character in a day or two, and even a casual won't be more than a week unless they are only playing like 30 mins a day or something. "Fixing" leveling would require nerfing dungeon EXP and slowing down the actual leveling process, both things that can't be done without causing tons of issues. What they _can_ do however, is remove leveling and tie power progression behind questing. Maybe you get a talent point for each zone major questline you do, or some minor stat boosts for other stuff, or however they want to do it. Transmog, mounts, etc. can all be tied to this too. Then, questing actually becomes a new branch of the game and not some obstacle to the "real game" that people pass and leave an empty world everyone ignores after hitting the "real game". If say the Ring of Blood rewarded a stat increase, you can bet your ass people would be going to Nagrand to do that content. Or maybe finishing a quest chain in a zone rewarded you with a talent point, you can bet people would be out in the world doing the quests in the zones. "But players would ask to join end game raids at level one!" - Not an issue, how often do they invite people in questing greens that hit max level yesterday to mythic raids? People _will_ gatekeep the same way they do with gear at max level. "But leveling is part of the classic RPG experience!" - Blizzard and WoW (as well as other games and companies) have broken a lot of these "rules" in the past and been fine. I would argue the system I propose better itches that old school power progression than _current_ leveling where mobs scale with you and you actively feel weaker as you level does. "But the story!" -And how would this system mess up the story any more than it is? Presumably a massive change like this would come with a world revamp, where they can make evergreen stories for the earlier zones, and then have you talk to Chromie or whoever to travel to Outland/Draenor/etc. and do that. "People will do them all and run out of stuff to unlock!" -How is that different to now? At least there is more incentive to go out in the world, even if long time players and sweats compete everything. Presumably there would be a cap on the power progression and the continued questing would be for transmog and mounts and other such stuff. Since I (and many others) believe asking a player to do the quests in every zone from vanilla-DF (and beyond) is unreasonable. Just some thoughts.

The horde impaling a women to a wall with a child crying is common in wow. The horde always win and the alliance never get justice.

There was a power for Tauren that was similar to Worgens run wild that i believe was scrapped for making mounts bigger for Tauren that might explain the 4 legged ‘buffalo’ imagery

7:22 i have bad news for you, there was always access to the uppercity, player rogue's would prowl through here looking out for alliance raids, or dropping down onto alliance gankers trying to sneak through undercity. Lots of Forsake buildings have the oppertunity to hide in plain sight as a rogue by perching on upper bits of structure's (hanging lights etc) One of my most favoured passtimes was afk'ing in Brill the first proper Forsaken town and pouncing down on nuaghty alliance trying to gank the new players running around down there.

3:05 It seems like that's true for a lot of games these days. People spend too much time chasing the meta and trying to find the most "optimal" way to play so they don't really immerse themselves in the world enough to see the role-playing potential. Or I'm an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about lol. All I know is I used to min-max all the time until I realized it was sucking all the fun out of games for me and now I try to take my time and enjoy the little things.

I wouldn't doubt that the Earth Mother changed all the Buffalo in Azeroth into the Tauren. With all the weird stuff that created the other races, it would be the least stretch in the game.

A few more that could have been on this list, in the starting zone if you go kind of de-bound into the water there are some things that no one would ever find outside of people just exploring and it's pretty far out there. There is this mountain somewhere that has just a bunch of Critters fighting for some reason, they all have armor if I remember correctly too. Might be just be a bunch of squirrels or something I don't remember exactly but it was pretty cool to see. And then finally there's that red dragon sleeping in a cave and no one knows why.

I haven't played since TBC but I love seeing your videos every time. I've thought about going back a few times to see this stuff for myself. I tried once but I didn't want to play the game anymore. Here's a whacky idea. Probably would cause a lot of lag though. They could have a tourist class of character. You couldn't be harmed by anything and you couldn't fight anything except with your bare hands to get through a area or something. It's a cool world that will only be seen by a few, millions yes but still not very many overall. I did this at the end of TBC. I was max level and went to all the lower level dungeons just to see them. I also did the ambassador title achievement so I had to go to every zone. Other than that I ran people through dungeons or just helped them along the road.

I love the dalaran mailroom + minigame. I got alot of practice for it when I was a kid playing Wind Waker

Funny thing about AQ lookin like a scarab, that place was designed by John Staats, it was the first thing he designed when he got to blizzard & his least favorite instance. He also designed Wailing Caverns, LBRS, UBRS, BRD, MC, Scholo, Karazhan & Warsong Gulch (which was based off a Quake 2 map he made then ported to Quake 3, before porting it to WoW).

This is probably one of absolute favorite Top 10s! I appreciate this fun series so much and always look forward to it.

Top ten Raid Chests that appear after defeating a boss, like the one that after you kill Elegon which has a very constellation-like design similar to the boss itself. I feel like many of these have a cool look and are easily ignored.

I doubt it is, but the "weird llama horse thing" made me think of the Tul'vir in Uldum or in Ahn'Qiraj. It's more likely to be a centaur, maybe?
